In February of 2008, Rachel Norton became the owner of Kiddie Kampus of Medford and immediately brought to the program her personal education philosophy. Ms. Norton’s philosophy is a simple one that embraces the ideals that children should experience learning and be welcomed into a loving, warm environment with a structured routine as well as experience hands-on activities through play and discovery within their community.
Since becoming owner of Kiddie Kampus of Medford, Ms. Norton has completely redesigned and renovated the facility to update the center, as well as adding the infant and toddler programs. The program is structured to promote Kindergarten readiness, as well as parent, community and family involvement with each child and also promotes self-help skills for the children to develop their individuality.
Ms. Norton holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. Prior to being the owner of Kiddie Kampus, Ms. Norton has been involved with several early childcare programs as well as the Director of one of the largest childcare programs on Long Island.
